R+B vs R – Practical defense and winning tries
Core training module for rook-and-bishop vs rook. This is a famous drawing/winning attempt motif: the stronger side tries to corner the king or set up mating nets, while the defender has to find only moves to avoid zugzwang or skewers.
The concrete examples and full analysis tree will appear here. For now, use this board as a starting position to think about how you would press with White or hold with Black.
Example set (coming soon)
This module will contain a curated set of R+B vs R positions (attack and defense) with a full ChessBase-style board: main lines, side variations, and commentary. You'll be able to play through the examples, try your own moves, and compare them to the theoretical lines.
